While working as a high school English teacher, I have worked extensively one-on-one with students before, during, and after school. In the past three years, I have also worked as a tutor (as a side job) for teens. I have a masters degree in Education from Providence College in the area of Literacy. I earned a 4.0 upon graduation. I enjoy tutoring because I enjoy working one-on-one with young adults and helping them to improve their skills. I get great joy out of passing my knowledge along to students who need the help.

I'm currently writing a novel for teens so I love writing. I enjoy reading novels of all different genres. I like music, movies, sports, animals, travel, pop culture, etc. I am very patient, kind, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, good-natured, hard-working, and understanding. Teaching young adults is my full-time job. A job I have been doing for 16 years. Therefore, I have lots of experience in helping young adults. I use real world examples when explaining different concepts. I also model what I am teaching so the child can better understand what I am teaching.
